SHAFR DCF recipient Carly Goodman selected as a 2016 Mellon/ACLS Public Fellow

We are pleased to announce that SHAFR member Carly Goodman has been selected as a 2016 Mellon/ACLS Public Fellow and will begin a position at the American Friends Service Committee in the fall. (More info at http://www.acls.org/news/06-08-2016/) Thanks to receiving SHAFR's Dissertation Completion Fellowship for 2015-2016, Goodman successfully defended her dissertation and received her Ph.D. in History from Temple University this spring. "I am so grateful to SHAFR for generously supporting my work and making it possible for me to finish my dissertation and qualify for the Public Fellows program," Goodman said.
