SHAFR News SHAFR 2008 ELECTION RESULTS (November 8, 2008) The following candidates colleagues elected in the 2008 SHAFR election: President: Frank Costigliola SHAFR MEMBERSHIP APPROVES BY-LAWS REVISION IN REFERENDUM (November 8, 2008) By a vote of 163 YES to 2 NO, the membership of SHAFR approved proposed revisions to the By-Laws that create a new Ways & Means Committee, clarify its membership, and empower it to discuss and recommend to Council various issues pertaining to programs and expenditures. SHAFR Events at 2009 AHA Meeting (October 22, 2008) SHAFR is hosting the following events at the annual meeting of the American Historical Association in New York City in January 2009. Please plan to attend: Tickets ($35) must be purchased in advance.
