Meredith Oyen

Meredith Oyen is a Ph.D. candidate at Georgetown University studying U.S.-Chinese Relations under the direction of Nancy Bernkopf Tucker. She is currently writing her dissertation, “Allies, Enemies and Aliens: Migration and U.S. Chinese Relations, 1940-1965.” Meredith graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in History and English from UNC Charlotte in 1998 and completed her Master’s Degree at Georgetown University in 2004. She has lived and conducted extensive research in both Taiwan and China as an NSEP Fellow and a Fulbright Scholar.
