Mitch Lerner
Mitchell Lerner is the editor of Passport: The Newsletter of the Society for Historians of American Foreign Relations. He is the author of The Pueblo Incident: A Spy Ship and the Failure of American Policy (2000), which won the John Lyman Award for Best Work of Naval History, and editor of Looking Back at LBJ: White House Politics in a New Light (2005). He is currently working on a broad policy history of the Johnson administration. Mitch has also published articles in Diplomatic History, Presidential Studies Quarterly, the Journal of Cold War Studies, the Korea Society Quarterly, and the Southwestern Historical Quarterly. He has served as a fellow at the Miller Center for Public Affairs at the University of Virginia, and held the Mary Ball Washington Distinguished Chair in American History at UC-Dublin in 2005-06.
