MAILINGS TO KATRINA ZONE DELAYED (September 21, 2005)
SHAFR members with mailing addresses in certain parts of the Gulf states might
face delays in receiving their copies of Diplomatic History and Passport as
well as other important items pertaining to SHAFR membership.
The prospective delay is the result of a temporary ban imposed by the U.S. Postal
Service on accepting standard and periodical mail to any address with a zip
code that begins with any of the following: 700 701 704 369 393 394
395 396
SHAFR mail to affected members will be held until the ban is lifted. If any
member submits a change of address notification to Blackwell, then all held
and future materials will be mailed to that new address. Changes of address
should be reported to Membershipservcies@blackwellpublishing.com
or 1-800-835-6770. Members needing assistance with this matter should contact
the SHAFR Business Office at shafr@osu.edu
or 614-292-1951.
